The Chocolate Cookie Donut

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp cacao
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (liquid)
  • 1/4 cup coconut butter (melted)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and line or grease your cookie sheet.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Take a small handful of dough and roll into a cylinder approximately 1.5-inches in diameter and turn the ends into each other so your cylinder forms a wheel. Use your fingers to smooth the crease where the two ends come together and meet. Repeat until you've used all your dough.
  3. Bake for 9-12 minutes. Let cool and top with whatever your heart desires (I love using chocolate coconut butter and shredded coconut... it's divine!)
